In Case You Wanna Know....
Here's a little about me!
Okay first of all I know this looks really long but its because of the pictures, the text isn't very long. I am wordy and am an expert at making sentences as long as possible without really trying. So sorry ahead of time, especially since I may just bore you. :D Also note that much of this page is blank because I abuse the return key. A lot.
Okay so ummm hiya I guess lol.
I see you found the about me page.
I am sorry for your loss. You may want to take an Aspirin. (You don't have head ache you say? You might in about 5 minutes so plan ahead mister)
Okay so about me...
Well I'm between.... what the hey I'll say it, I'm 14. :p Before you start rattling on immaturity issues that has nothing to do with it, I have been called mature by many people (in person) and I don't use such a... sarcastic/dry/insane... way of writing in general, or at all actually, this site is just an outlet for my strange sense of humor that nobody quite gets, lol. In fact I don't ever use it because it seems to offend everybody. (Can't really blame 'em). So if you're here feeling shocked, just remember that what you see here is the overflow that just doesn't belong on any of my other sites. Or anyplace to be honest.
Anyway.
My name is Cass. I am a girl. Long thick (I mean THICK) brown hair, brown eyes, extraordinarily short (sigh) only about 5' tall, weigh a hair more than I'd like to but I am not the type to fret about such things. Oh and I have so many freckles you almost can't see my face anymore. (I think that's a good thing but I'm not sure).
I'm incredibly socially awkward (you may not think so now but if you met me... you'd get it) and I tend to get nervous in a social setting where I'm on my own, and because I know someone else might know I'm nervous it makes me MORE nervous because I want to hide it and then it just starts spiraling. I can keep that in control, so nobody knows I'm nervous actually, but everybody probably can tell that I don't know what to do or say or how that would be proper and therefore I don't do or say anything. Which can be misinterpreted as my being "snobby". Which I am far from (in my bias opinion anyway).
What do I like? Hmm. Well, I like 80s rock (NO modern style music at all! bleh) I also like one lone movie. 3 TV shows.... kinda. I like food. I like to play musical instruments. I like to write. I like to read. I like to have intellectual conversations and discuss theories and such. Most people don't understand that side of me so I don't really have an outlet for my desire to have such talks. But I'll get into that more later. Oh. And I also like MBTI.
Of course that doesn't actually explain much so here's what we're going to do: The following titles and stuff are clickable- click the title or the image, and it will expand and you'll see what's written in there. In this way you don't have to read about my boring life if you don't want to.
(Of course, who wouldn't want to?)
*cough*
Anyways, read on!

The Bands I Like & My Thoughts On Music
Astrud Gilberto, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, Cheap Trick, Damn Yankees, Donnie Iris, Firefall, Foreigner, Golden Earing, Heart, Journey, Kansas, Manfred Mann's Big Earth Band, Men At Work, Men Without Hats, Night Ranger, Pilot, REO Speedwagon, Rik Emmett, Shooting Star, Slaughter, Sniff 'N' The Tears, Steve Perry, Styx, Survivor, Sweet, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Tommy Shaw, Toto, Triumph, The Tarney-Spencer Band, The Vespers, Boston, Yes, Eddie Money, Dire Straits, Cream, Bob Dylan, Jefferson Airplane, Jefferson Starship, The Steve Miller Band, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Thin Lizzy, Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs, Lover Boy, April Wine, Cinderella..... and way way more that escape my mind right now. :p
My musical thoughts? Well, the reason I don't like modern music is that it doesn't sound like music. Much of it sounds like computer generated noise passing for "music". Actually, most of it. Everybody uses auto-tune. My opinion is if you're so bad at singing you need to have your voice auto-tuned to the music, maybe you shouldn't be singing. I know, that's "going rouge" in the modern society, but honestly I don't care. That isn't to mention that many modern musicians... Actually, I prefer to call them "artists" because I can't associate music with these people and they call anything art these days, so anyway, many if these modern artists, they just act so ridiculous. That Miley Cyrus always has that gosh darned tongue out and to me, she just doesn't act appropriate, she kinda acts like a... well I can't say that. Think it maybe, but not say it. I'm better than that, believe it or not. And Justin what's his name had to be CARRIED up the wall of China? I don't know. I can't listen to the music of nut cases- which is not to say there are no nut cases in my genre and decade. I can't stomach listening to Eddie Van Halen. His life is just such a mess and he's really screwed himself up in my useless opinion, and he hasn't figured out that it ain't a very smart idea either. I know Styx got into that scene too, but I still like them because they have all come out and said that they know now it was really stupid and don't do that anymore. But Eddie Van Halen hasn't even acknowledged it's dumb, and I can't support that kind of behavior.
My total favorite band is Triumph and my total favorite guitar is the Framus Akkerman and my total favorite songs are Triumph's Time Goes By and Lorelei by Styx.

I've played guitar for about 2 years now. I really don't have a whole lot to show for it though. I have played Ukulele for four years, and I guess I'm best at that... I still don't have my power chords memorized on guitar and can't play more than a few random riffs on my electric, but I know two full songs on my acoustic. I mean, I can play them on either obviously, but the songs are written for acoustic so it wouldn't make much sense for me to do it on the electric. XD
My electric guitar is a white Dean Playmate. I bought it used for $95 (US) and while it isn't the greatest one around I like for now. =D My acoustic is a red quilted-ash Morgan Monroe, and I simply adore it! it sounds soooo awesome! My uke is a mahogoney body, rosewood fretboard, Oscar Shmidt by Wasburn. I love it too. I guess some pictures are in order though, so... Here they are.
This is my electric:

And finally, my acoustic:
So, that's what I play. Don't you feel enriched now that you've read that?
No?
Well... your loss I guess.
(:
(I was kidding)
Anywho. Onto the next thing....

My Favorite movie is The Driver from 1978. It was never a hit and I don't know why, and I also hate that the 2 hour version was never released because it sounds like it was soooo awesome! Anyway heres some images from it:
And here's the movie trailer in case you're bored.... the whole movie in full on YouTube too, if you look, but I have it on DVD cause I LOVE IT! ;)

I'll start with my favorite modern show. It's my only favorite modern show. In fact it's pretty much the only modern show I watch. Its called Person of Interest. I can't explain exactly why I love it... I just know that ever since the first time that I saw it, there's been something that draws me to depth of the characters and what they've been through, and on a side note while she isn't my favorite character, Shaw reminds me of me. Maybe later on I will show you some pictures. Right now I just have time to type... that I love Person Of Interest!
Okay, here's a picture:
But the rest will come later! :)
My absolute favorite non-modern show is Get Smart- I even got the box DVD set, I watch an episode of it for the trillionth time like almost every night.... And loving it! ;-) but seriously (and only GS fans will know what the joke was there) I recommend that box set if you like Get Smart. I did not, however like the recent 2008 Get Smart movie. Once again, Hollywood wrecked a perfectly good classic. Steve Carrel LOOKS like Max but he does't ACT like Max. It's likely hard to fill Don Adams' shoes playing the character of Maxwell Smart but he could've did a better job. And Ann Hathaway as 99.... uh-uh. She lost her sweet side that we all knew as Agent 99. She became more like Dianna Rigg as Emma Peel in the original The Avengers.... but at least it pulled more of the younger generation to the original 5 seasons of Get Smart.
Anyway heres some GS pictures...
My other favorite show is Mr Ed- who doesn't love a talking horse?
The last one was The Partners. I hate that it's only one and a half seasons and that they won't put it on DVD! I loved it- I saw an episode or three on YouTube and I was hooked! But even those are gone now...
Anyway that does it for TV... toldja I was outdated! I wasn't even ALIVE during the times that stuff wasn't reruns! lol!

I like old books. Many modern books seem boring or a bit "much". Also I went to the library.... they only had one shelf of stuff at my reading level, and literally ALL of the books on it were about fantasy weird stuff, vampires, or romance, or all of them at once. Yuck! I'll stick to old books. Thanks. Or no thanks... I don't care.
Either way... I don't like Twilight, the Hunger Games, Harry Potter, the Narnia books or any of that stuff. I think they're kinda stupid. I also find it strange that the fans of these volumes are willing to personally attack me on the accusation of my having personally attacked them because I didn't like their favorite fandom's focal point. Of course, I'm one of those weird people who isn't offended pretty much ever and also doesn't care if other people don't agree with me, so... what do I know about proper fandom etiquette. If it is offensive to have my own opinions in my own life, I apologize. *enter sarcastic smirk*

I like to write. I do mostly novels, short stories do not interest me. I don't have the patience to plan out something just for a chapter's worth of pages. Yet I also don't have enough will power against my natural procrastination to finish them very fast. I'm almost done with my second book. In four years. Going on five. Yeah, I don't see me being a writer full time. Anyway, I do mostly fiction/mystery writing. Shorter. 10-14 chapters.
So that's the Meyer Briggs Type Indicator. It's a kind of science that was invented that has 16 letter combinations, and everyone has a type. Even if you don't know it, you have one. So do fictional characters. Even if the creator doesn't know about it.
The letters are I or E for the first part of the type- I for introverted and E for Extroverted.
The second letters are either S or N- N for iNtuition or S for Sensing.
The third letters have to be T or F- F for Feeling and T for Thinking.
And the fourth letter is either P or J- P for Perceiving, J for Judging.
My type is one that is actually often misunderstood and results in many issues because not many other people have it.
I'm an INTP... my percentages in the test were
I - 73% - Introverted
N - 10% - Intuitive
T - 77% - Thinking
P - 10% - Perceiving
Just for fun, this is a description of the INTP from The Personality Page:
(warning- it's looong. You can just keep on scrolling down past if you like....XD)
The Thinker
As an INTP, your primary mode of living is focused internally, where you deal with things rationally and logically. Your secondary mode is external, where you take things in primarily via your intuition.
INTPs live in the world of theoretical possibilities. They see everything in terms of how it could be improved, or what it could be turned into. They live primarily inside their own minds, having the ability to analyze difficult problems, identify patterns, and come up with logical explanations. They seek clarity in everything, and are therefore driven to build knowledge. They are the "absent-minded professors", who highly value intelligence and the ability to apply logic to theories to find solutions. They typically are so strongly driven to turn problems into logical explanations, that they live much of their lives within their own heads, and may not place as much importance or value on the external world. Their natural drive to turn theories into concrete understanding may turn into a feeling of personal responsibility to solve theoretical problems, and help society move towards a higher understanding.
INTPs value knowledge above all else. Their minds are constantly working to generate new theories, or to prove or disprove existing theories. They approach problems and theories with enthusiasm and skepticism, ignoring existing rules and opinions and defining their own approach to the resolution. They seek patterns and logical explanations for anything that interests them. They're usually extremely bright, and able to be objectively critical in their analysis. They love new ideas, and become very excited over abstractions and theories. They love to discuss these concepts with others. They may seem "dreamy" and distant to others, because they spend a lot of time inside their minds musing over theories. They hate to work on routine things - they would much prefer to build complex theoretical solutions, and leave the implementation of the system to others. They are intensely interested in theory, and will put forth tremendous amounts of time and energy into finding a solution to a problem with has piqued their interest.
INTPs do not like to lead or control people. They're very tolerant and flexible in most situations, unless one of their firmly held beliefs has been violated or challenged, in which case they may take a very rigid stance. The INTP is likely to be very shy when it comes to meeting new people. On the other hand, the INTP is very self-confident and gregarious around people they know well, or when discussing theories which they fully understand.
The INTP has no understanding or value for decisions made on the basis of personal subjectivity or feelings. They strive constantly to achieve logical conclusions to problems, and don't understand the importance or relevance of applying subjective emotional considerations to decisions. For this reason, INTPs are usually not in-tune with how people are feeling, and are not naturally well-equiped to meet the emotional needs of others.
The INTP may have a problem with self-aggrandizement and social rebellion, which will interfere with their creative potential. Since their Feeling side is their least developed trait, the INTP may have difficulty giving the warmth and support that is sometimes necessary in intimate relationships. If the INTP doesn't realize the value of attending to other people's feelings, he or she may become overly critical and sarcastic with others. If the INTP is not able to find a place for themselves which supports the use of their strongest abilities, they may become generally negative and cynical. If the INTP has not developed their Sensing side sufficiently, they may become unaware of their environment, and exhibit weakness in performing maintenance-type tasks, such as bill-paying and dressing appropriately.
For the INTP, it is extremely important that ideas and facts are expressed correctly and succinctly. They are likely to express themselves in what they believe to be absolute truths. Sometimes, their well thought-out understanding of an idea is not easily understandable by others, but the INTP is not naturally likely to tailor the truth so as to explain it in an understandable way to others. The INTP may be prone to abandoning a project once they have figured it out, moving on to the next thing. It's important that the INTP place importance on expressing their developed theories in understandable ways. In the end, an amazing discovery means nothing if you are the only person who understands it.
The INTP is usually very independent, unconventional, and original. They are not likely to place much value on traditional goals such as popularity and security. They usually have complex characters, and may tend to be restless and temperamental. They are strongly ingenious, and have unconventional thought patterns which allows them to analyze ideas in new ways. Consequently, a lot of scientific breakthroughs in the world have been made by the INTP.
The INTP is at his best when he can work on his theories independently. When given an environment which supports his creative genius and possible eccentricity, the INTP can accomplish truly remarkable things. These are the pioneers of new thoughts in our society.
